All three of our shorts are high quality, durable, and stylish. Which one is right for you comes down to preference, and in some cases, end use. Here are some of the differences that will hopefully help you make your decision.
LUKA: The Luka is lightweight and breathable with a curved split-hem. People with bigger quads tend to prefer the Luka shorts because the hem design give a feeling of more freedom of movement. The Luka is available in a 5" and 7" inseam.
LUKA HD: We took our best-selling Luka short, and added a diamond rip-stop material for increased durability and a textured feel. The Luka HD has the same split hem design as the original Luka's, making them preferable for athletes with large quads. Luka HD are available in 5" and 7" inseam.
RELAY: The Relay is a very versatile short. It has a straight hem as opposed to the curved split hem of the Luka style shorts. This makes them a bit tighter on the quad than the Luka. Of the shorts available, the Relay has the most stretch, and also features a reinforced waist band, so while it still fits true to size, it can feel a bit more snug at the waist than the Luka shorts. The draw strings are also on the inside of the Relay shorts as opposed to on the outside for the Luka style. If you do like your shorts a bit longer the Relay might be the choice for you as some colors are available in a 9" inseam.
